So. Today is the day that our trip, which was just a random idea at first, finally starts. I'm writing this text on a piece of paper in railway station in Lahti. My train will leave in 20 minutes, can't really fully understand yet that I'm leaving to Eastern Europe for the summer. I'm meeting Piritta in Helsinki and then we'll continue to Tallinn, where we are going to meet Kaisa's friend Karmen. She has agreed to host us in Kaisa's place. We are so thankful for that! :) So Tallinn is our first stop. After that we will probably go to visit Tartu. There Kaisa's other friend has agreed to show us around.
For that on we have no plans. Might sound weird, I know many people haven't really understood our way to do this.. that's just too bad. Unplanning this trip was kind of the main idea to do this. We want to be open for different opportunities that might come up along the way, be spontaneous. That's something that is quite lost nowadays, unfortunately. We are however trying to keep that alive on our journey and see where it takes us. I believe that this summer is going to be great and definitely forgettable one. Let the journey begin!
